Save the date for the 4th Annual Halloween Family Bike Ride!Link opens in a new window
The bike ride will begin at Assembly Line Park here at Assembly Row (located between Caffè Nero and The Smoke Shop BBQ) and make its way through Medford.
Featuring community, a mostly car free curated ride, bike to bike trick or treating, rock painting, robot activities from Robo HubLink opens in a new window, the brand new McGlynn School universal playground and the Family Bike Ride collection of outdoor play equipment.
Parents must accompany children at all times. Children must wear helmets per Massachusetts law.
There is no fee to register (registration below), event is open to public, donationsLink opens in a new window are encouraged to support Family Bike Ride operations.
**Bring a bag of candy to hand out, stand next to your bike. Kids should bring an empty bag/container to collect candy and go bike to bike trick or treating. There will be limited quantities of extra bags for collecting candy and bags of candy for handing out provided by Family Bike Ride.**
Family Bike RideLink opens in a new window is a parent organized group and the ride has expenses of permits, ice cream, permits, insurance, portable restroom rentals, safety equipment, graphics, play equipment, and more. The organization receives some support from sponsors but relies on participant financial support as well.
