We Are Going On a Socially Distanced Turkey Hunt

By Cheryl Lachendro- Publisher November 3, 2020

Thanksgiving is probably going to look a lot different this year, but that doesn't mean the Wakefield area Thanksgiving Fun has to stop.  Macaroni Kid Burlington, Wilmington, Winchester, Woburn MA has planned to "host" a Socially-Distanced Turkey Hunt throughout the Burlington area on the weekend of November 20th-23rd. This activity is easy and promises to be a gobbling good time for the entire family.

How does it work:

  1. Print out these Turkey Coloring Pages or create your own!
  2. Decorate as many as you'd like and how you'd like.
  3. Submit your ADDRESS to our TURKEY HUNT MAP FORM HERE. On Thursday, November 19th  we will send all of our subscribers a virtual Social Distance TURKEY Hunt map so you know which neighborhoods to explore. Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already so you won't miss it!
  4. Display Your Creations in the front of your house, in your windows, on your doors, etc. for your neighbors to see the morning of Friday, Nov 20th at 10 a.m. through Sunday, Nov 23rd at 6 p.m.
  5. Drive or Walk around the neighborhoods and see how many turkeys you can find!
  6. Share your photos on social media using the hashtag #BurlingtonAreaTurkeyHunt for all to see or on our Facebook Thread located HERE.
  7. All participants who've Submitted Their Location for our map will be entered in a drawing to receive one of three $25 gift certificates to the local business of your choice. Download your Turkey Coloring Pages and start to decorate!
